Clair de Lune

by Gerry Timm

Composed by: Claude Debussy

'Clair de Lune' was one of the first pieces that I attempted and it is a good exAMPLE of how not to do things!

It was first of all arranged with just the piano voices, section by section, faults in the scoring were rectified, and by then there was a shortage of free memory. Introducing more instruments prevented use of the Staff editor and some of the parts were too big for Notepad.

This version is almost beyond further editing. If starting again I would write short parts, use fewer mixes, and call instruments from parts. Someone may find it of interest; I've enjoyed the challenge.
